Born to the West

Dare Rudd and Dinkey Hooley, roaming cowhands, float into Montana, in which they meet Dare’s cousin, Tom Fillmore, cattleman and banker. Tom offers them jobs but they pass, until Dare sees Tom’s sweetheart, Judy Worstall and makes a decision to take the task. He is put in fee of a cattle drive, replacing ranch-foreman Lynn Hardy, who’s in cahoots with Bart Hammond, rustler. Dare delivers the cattle to the railhead and is set to go back while he’s persuaded into a poker game by way of Buck Brady, a crooked gambler. Dare is nearly wiped clean out when Tom appears and takes a hand and discovers the provider is switching decks. tt0028653
